“I’ll put it this way. So, when they told me “you’re going back to work next week”, my heart sank, because we only get two months off, and I felt like I was recovering for a month and then I’d just gotten back into a routine with my kid and seeing my friends again and enjoying my downtime and I thought “I’m not ready, I’m not ready”. And then the script came. And then I read the script. And I got so excited. And I emailed Robert and Michelle and I just said “Okay so I didn’t want to go back to work and now I can’t wait to go back to work.” I think Robert and Michelle, like most athletes, are competitive. And they’re competitive with themselves, and so they’re constantly making each season better and better. And it’s such a challenge to always outdo yourself, but they always go against the grain and I have to say this is the first time I’ve ever experienced- you know, the network sits back, they love the show so much, they allow them to do whatever they want. I think the first episode will make people.. happy. I don’t know, everyone has a different - there’s two camps, so.. But I’m happy about it.”
